This one was a special request for a customer but I liked it so much I
decided to make more and make them as part of my shop listings :)
This would make a perfect Valentine's gift, wedding anniversary or just because :)
Instead of the little lovebirds, here I have created the blue Indian
Ringneck parakeet. Both birds are about 1 1/2 tall from head to tip of
tail, they are hand sculpted from clay and given several washes of color
until the right effect was achieved.
The male can be distinguished by his black and white "ring" collar
around his neck, hence the name of the species. The female has a
slightly bluer shade around her neck to hint at a collar which some say
they have. Both birds are swinging happily on a branch around your neck
:)
This necklace also comes with matching Swarovski earrings, each earring
has three jewels on them , two larger turquoise ones and a smaller
turquoise in between them.
The pendant comes with a silver plated cable style chain that is 18
inches long with a spring ring closure. Along that chain you will find
two larger turquoise Swarovski crystals and in between them a smaller
turquoise crystal as well for a total of 6 crystals
This item comes in a gift box and is also bubble wrapped for extra precaution during shipping.
Note: Not to worry about the earrings, you do get a new unworn pair, I always keep one pair for display only.
