100% handmade, massive shoulder bag steampunk / steampunk style. Single piece. I have made only 5 similar bags of this kind. Each is different. Based on big old, antiquarian books from 1850th. A original and high quality artist / saddler/bookbinder work.
High quality and solid build, made of 3-5mm bio leather from germany, vegetable tanned and dyed by hand, tooled and sewn. Antique bookcover of antiquarian books from 1850, extensively renovated and fashioned as a bag cover
- countless details, with original, antique bronze closures, binding screws etc.
- handmade, 4cm wide carrying strap with sturdy brass snap hooks.
- inner front with a filigrane and ornate art deco pattern. In the middle an old clockwork with rust patina.
- front with a breakthrough, acid etched and hammered brass plates.
-weight 3kg, internal dimensions for a4 documents about 31,5x26x6,5cm. External dimensions: 35x28x10cm.

These bags look as beautiful in real life as they do in the online photos. The craftsmanship is remarkable. I can't recommend Ätherwerk enough. Artisans like Lars are one in a million. I'm going to stop typing now, and go back to staring my new bag. :)
