Many of the components of our steampunk dragonfly sculpture emerged from the clutter of our favorite junk drawer. With two large eyes, our steampunk dragonfly has three separate body parts; the head, thorax and abdomen. Two large silver buttons serve as the dragonfly's eyes, while a third represents his jaws. A steel colored coupling forms the dragonfly's thorax, where his delicate filigree wings are secured. A long tubular light bulb completes his body, acting as the abdomen. With long wiry legs, the dragonfly can stand on its own. Measuring 8 inches long, and with a wingspan of nearly 9 inches, our steampunk dragonfly sculpture is perfect for a shelf, table or mantelpiece.
