See What Our Facebook Fans think Of their Moms. Do You Agree?

In honor of Women’s History Month, we recently published a few pieces about the women the team at RebelsMarket find inspiring.

But as we have mentioned, it’s not all about us.We love hearing thoughts and opinions from our Rebel community and we wondered what women have impacted the lives of our fans.

So - we asked members of our Facebook community to tell us

It's Women's History Month - Who are the women who have inspired you?

The results drew from a wide variety of women. From Joan of Arc to Betty White, you draw inspiration from many famous names.
But overwhelmingly, the replies were not for the standard faces found in history books.
Everyday, without noticing, ordinary women are influencing the lives of those around them.Friend, Aunt, Daughter, Grandmother, and most of all - Mom.

As Jessica told us - In 5th grade my mom fixed the cable on our TV. That's when I saw it. She did way more than that... fixed  and made everything from almost nothing. A single mom who didn't need a man to do anything for her or us. Who  needs a make believe character. My mom was my hero.

Moms who often feel overwhelmed and underappreciated should know they are not being overlooked.

Skyler points out - My Mom is probably the best influence. She made such sacrifices to insure that I would have a happy childhood. And I did. I owe that beautiful person my life!

And it is not just women who feel the impact of these graceful and strong heroes.

We could feel Chris’s love in his words - My wife who fights a battle against cancer every day but still puts her family first. She never stops giving, never stops caring and makes me laugh and smile every day. She's a beautiful woman, an amazing mother and the best wife a man could ever ask for. She gives me hope and inspires me to be a better man.

As you know, Mother’s Day is coming. We would love to hear more stories about the amazing moms who have made you the person you are today. We will be creating a follow up piece in time to honor the RebelMoms among us and we may include your comment in our collection.

Wouldn’t that be an awesome gift to share with your mom on her special day?
