Hi :)
I've seen a lot of bird's nest
necklaces, they are very popular and cute! However you don't see many
that are so tiny they fit inside a bottle :)
This is a perfect gift for mother's day, a mother to be, Easter, spring, summer, you name it, it will go perfectly :)
Here's
my rendition of the bird's nest with a special touch! What makes this
one special is that I built the nest inside the bottle from little
sticks I found outside ( don't worry they won't budge, they are glued in
place).
Inside the nest are three miniature hand sculpted eggs,
painted blue to mimic the robin's egg. This piece was a bit challenging
using tweezers and all but it turned out so adorable :)
On
the outside of the bottle is the sweet little touch I added, it's a
quote I thought suited the bird's nest, after all the point of a bird to
build the nest is to have something to shelter the eggs from the harsh
elements; like storms. The quote reads as follows:
"Perhaps
love is like a resting place, A shelter from the storm, It exists to
give you comfort, It is there to keep you warm, And in those times of
trouble when you feel most alone, The memory of love will bring you
home."
The writing has been sealed so it won't fade over time.
The pendant is hanging from a 18'' cable style silver plated chain with a spring ring closure.
This item comes in a gift box and is bubble wrapped for extra shipping precautions.
