These earrings were actually inspired from vintage style heart/flame tattoos which as most of us know is derived from religious pictures throughout time.
The earrings are composed of a hand sculpted heart with a swirl of orange/yellow/red flames coming out of the aorta. The hearts are about 3/4'' across and 1'' tall. They have a coating of pearlized red pigment on them giving a beautiful glow and have been shaded in with a wash of black paint to add depth. I then added a coat of varnish to protect them.
Along the chain is a mix of genuine Swarovski crystals in a beautiful orange infused with red ( the smaller crystals ) while the larger crystal in the middle is a beautiful red color.
The total length of the earrings is about 3'' long, not too long and they are lightweight so you won't feel weighed down by them.
The earrings are set on silver plated wires, not to worry you will be receiving a new pair, the ones shown here are for my show and tell purposes only :)
This item comes in a pretty gift box and is bubble wrapped for extra precaution.
