This piece was inspired from a movie where a little boy befriends a loveable cartoon dragon named Pete. I remember watching this movie over and over as a child, it was one of my favorites :)
Summer is around the corner so this necklace is perfect for the beach, pool parties and going on a boat ride, I know there are already lighthouse necklaces out there but I thought this one would have that extra special touch since I've included lyrics to the song "Candle on the Water" sung by in the movie :)
Inside the bottle is a miniature hand sculpted lighthouse, no molds were used, this piece is tiny and highly detailed. Included is the little light at the top and a miniature door, little rock details all around the bottom of the tower and red stripes painted on the tower add a vibrant finishing touch.
The lighthouse is standing on top of some rocks and at the bottom I've painted in some water with white foam for a more realistic rendition.
The bottle is permanently sealed with a cork and glue.
On the outside is a burnt paper with part of the song "Candle on the Water" it reads:
"I'll be your candle on the water
My love for you will always burn
I know you're lost and drifting
But the clouds are lifting
Don't give up you have somewhere to turn"
It's such a beautiful song that I couldn't resist putting it on there :) The lyrics are glazed to prevent fading over time.
At the top of the bottle are three genuine Swarovski crystals in a nautical trio of colors in red, blue and crystal ( white ) for a bit of sparkle.
The pendant hangs from a 18'' cable style silver plated chain with a spring ring closure.
This item comes in a gift box and is bubble wrapped for extra precaution.
