A great necklace to wear to guy or girl, any fan of Poe's work would be delighted to have this :)
This piece started out as a custom order for a customer of
mine, it's sort of a spin off from my other listing of Edgar Allan Poe's
The Tell Tale Heart bottle necklace :)
Inside the
bottle is a hand sculpted human heart sitting in a pool of blood which
has the consistency of thick jelly. When you wear the necklace, the
jelly warms up to your body temperature and becomes and slick thick
blood consistency which really adds to the effect.
On the outside of the bottle is a burnt paper with Poe's quote, it reads:
"I became insane with long intervals of horrible sanity."
The quote has been varnished to protect it from fading over time.
All of the contents in the bottle are permanently sealed with cork and sealant.
This pendant hangs from a 18'' cable style, silver plated chain with a spring ring closure.
This item comes in a pretty gift box and is bubble wrapped for extra precaution.
