This bookmark would be a perfect and unique gift for that person in your life who prefers the dark macabre and mysterious literature, inspired by Edgar Allan Poe, this piece is sure to please!

On this particular bookmark you will find two bottles made of glass that are no taller than 22 mm each. l suspended from different length links to add visual interest.

Inside the first bottle is a human heart sculpted by hand and glazed to give a wet look to it. It is sitting in a pool of blood that had dripped down the side of the bottle.

On the outside of this bottle is a burnt paper with a quote from The Tell Tale Heart which reads:

"It is the beating of his hideous heart."

The quote has been varnished to prevent fading over time.

Above the bottle is a single genuine Swarovski crystal in a jet black color.

In the second bottle is another hand sculpted human heart, this one is sitting in a pool of blood (composed of non toxic liquified jelly substance), looking very realistic.

On the outside of this bottle is also a Edgar Allan Poe quote which reads:

"I became insane with long intervals of horrible sanity."

This quote has also been varnished to prevent fading over time.

Above this bottle is a single genuine Swarovski crystal in a beautiful deep red color.

Each bottle has also been tripple sealed for security.

Both bottles are mounted to a silver feather quill. The feather part measures about 4 1/2 inches long, not too big, not too small.

This item comes in a gift box and is bubble wrapped for extra precaution.
