Hi :)
Inspired from one of my favorite tales growing up, this
story has become a classic which has been re-written over time into
movies and musicals.
This is my version of the story :) The poor witch never stood a chance! This is a tiny scene depicting the evil witch's fate.
Inside the glass bottle is a tiny hand sculpted house which resembles a
lot like Dorothy's! It is highly detailed and stands at a mere 3 or 4
mm tall, so tiny! If you look closely beside the house are a tiny pair
of legs with red glittered ruby shoes :)
The house is sitting
on top of some green moss to complete the mini scene. Everything is
secured down so no worries about your necklace going for a bumpy ride,
nothing is budging :)
The contents of the bottle are permanently sealed inside with a cork and sealant.
On the outside of the bottle is a burnt paper scroll with the following quote:
"My sister was never the same after that house fell on her."
I thought this was a clever quote/pun to add for a bit of humor :)
The quote has been glazed to prevent fading over time.
At the very top of the bottle is also a charm composed of three genuine
emerald green Swarovski crystals for a bit of sparkle which also
represents the famous Emerald City :)
The pendant hangs from a 18'' cable style, silver plated chain with a spring ring closure.
This item comes in a pretty gift box and is bubble wrapped for extra precaution.
