Hi :)
Inspired by a classic fairy tale that has been redone so many times
over the years from the book to the big screen, it still remains one of
my childhood favorites!
This necklace has quickly become one of my favorite creations, I know I say this alot but this piece is just too cute :)
Inside a glass top dome measuring 1 1/2'' and about 1'' across is a
tiny, hand sculpted, highly detailed blue caterpillar. You can see his
little yellow feet and tiny blue hands along his body. He has closed
eyes, surely because he is enjoying his hookah pipe which also has a
tiny golden "tubing" connecting the pipe.
He is sitting on top of a cute mushroom which even has grooving marks
underneath the mushroom cap. The whole scenery is completed with a bed
of moss. As you can tell by the pictures this "sculpture" is no bigger
than a die (shown for comparison).
Everything is securely glued down so no worries about messing anything up.
The pendant hangs from a generous 32'' long silver plated chain with a
spring ring closure. However I also added a second jump ring at 24''
point should you choose to wear the chain a bit shorter, making this
necklace convenient to wear with any outfit.
This item comes in a pretty gift box and is bubble wrapped for extra precaution.
