Spring Break is finally on the horizon! Your calendars are marked and you can't wait to get a break from school, but you haven't planned a trip yet (we're looking at you, procrastinators). Look no further for a fun and easy last- minute trip you can plan just in time to get away for spring break. Best of all, this plan doesn't include overpriced hotels in Florida and there's no expensive plane tickets involved either!

Yeah, you heard us. We're talking a beach camping trip! After all, what's more perfect than spending time with friends or family by the campfire at the beach? We've got you covered with a list of everything you'll need to pack for your spring break camping adventure!

Clothes to Bring

As far as clothes to pack, one of the best things about camping at the beach is that it allows for completely casual outfits. If you want to dress a bit more chic, we recommend a flowy, comfortable maxi dress. Keep your look easy by adding a simple pair of sandals or flip flops and a cool pair of sunglasses.

If you're leaning towards a more casual beach vibe, definitely pack some graphic tees to pair with comfy beach pants or shorts. For when it gets chilly at night, pack an oversized hoodie for easy layering to stay cozy and warm. Keep it simple by adding a pair of comfortable slip on shoes or sandals!

Because you'll be staying at the beach, it's only necessary to bring a sexy swimsuit or two (or seven, I mean who's counting?). Be sure to also pack some sunscreen to protect your skin and keep bugspray on hand for the night time! Unfortunately for us, mosquitoes also tend to like the beach.

Camping Necessities for Comfort

You'll want to keep everything you bring easy and convenient so you can stay comfortable throughout your road trip. Odds are, you'll be staying in a tent for your camping trip. If you've ever been camping, you know that tents aren't the most luxurious or comfortable place to sleep. To keep cozy, it's important to bring pillows and bedding that will keep you warm and relaxed. Pack at least one blanket to sleep with and one to use as a beach blanket! If you have the room, you can also bring an air mattress or a camping mat to boost your sleeping comfort.

Some other basics to bring include a flashlight, first aid kit, snacks, water, a camera, matches or a lighter, and of course a map or GPS!

Now you're all set to go out on your camping excursion! Let us know if you'll be going camping on the beach for spring break or what your other plans are in the comments below!
