Good Witch Or Bad Witch: How To Get The Look

Good Witch Or Bad Witch: How To Get The Look

Are you looking for a way to bring a little magic into your wardrobe this Halloween? Whether you’re going for a good witch or bad witch look, there are plenty of options to choose from. From pretty pastel gowns to bold and daring ensembles, we’ll show you how to get the perfect witchy look for your Halloween celebrations.

Any kind of fashion that makes me feel more like Wednesday Addams is more than okay with me. Channel some mystic energy with modern twists with the following looks- good witch versus bad witch!

If you tend to stick with floral patterns and a bohemian feel, but still want that mysterious element in your look, try our outfit picks for good witch. If you like gothic and occult clothing with a bit of edge and seduction, go for the bad witch inspiration looks!

Of course, you can always mix pieces from different outfits and make them your own. Take a look at our favorite witch- inspired outfits to conjure up your new style.

Good Witch Styles

My Fashion Cents

I'm usually not a huge fan of fringe, but it completes this outfit! For a sleek silhouette with comfort, pair high- waisted jeans with a bralette top and layer an oversized kimono on top.

Not all of us are lucky enough to live in a warm climate for winter, so to make this outfit work in chilly weather, swap out the bralette top for a long-sleeve bodysuit. Wear platform sneakers for a streetwear twist on this look, or go for ankle booties for an outfit that is suited for day or night.

Spread Style

I'll be the first to say how happy I am that bodysuits are a hot topic right now; they're so comfortable! The lace up detail of this bodysuit with contrasting gray denim pants creates a sultry, yet sophisticated outfit.

Pop on a pair of oversized sunglasses and accentuate your waist with a silver-plated belt. If you need some layers with this look, try a black leather jacket for a night out or a classic blazer for school or work.

My Fashion Cents

Am I the only one getting gothic Coachella vibes from this look?

The key to this look is the amount of detail in the skirt; keep an eye out for pleating, ruffles, and tulle material to add movement to your outfit. For warmer spring weather, pair your skirt with a crop top and open- toe sandals. Top it all of with a wide- brim hat and bring a backpack for the cutest festival outfit ever!

Ok!

I can't do any inspiration post without a makeup look! When it comes to "good witch" vibes, I automatically pictured this look that Perrie Edwards wore during the "Shoutout to My Ex" music video. Is it a bit extra? Of course. Is it necessary? Totally.

Rock a rose gold smokey eye and (very carefully) draw on small stars or other shapes directly under your eyes. Keep your eyes as the "wow factor" of this makeup look and go for a nude lip color. If you're not confident in your drawing abilities, then a couple of carefully-placed temporary tattoos can have the same effect!

Bad Witch Vibes

My Fashion Cents

Switching up a bit from the "good witch" makeup inspiration, don't be afraid to rock some darker colors for a "bad witch" inspired look! Create sleek, sculpted brows and a precise contour for a more structured makeup look.

Go for darker colored eyeshadows like burgundy, chocolate brown, black, and deep green. When it comes to lip colors, go bold and dark with purple, burgundy, gray, and of course, some badass black lipstick!

Defining Delphine

If you like the waist-cinching look fo a corset, try the corset belt trend! You can wear a corset belt over almost any t-shirt, which you can then wear with jeans or a skirt.

To make this look more sultry, try wearing a slightly transparent shirt with a bralette underneath. Layer midi- rings and chokers for a simple, yet bold and edgy outfit.

Memorandum

Bad witch vibes don't always have to be about black! The above outfit can be perfect for everyday wear, or even to the office.

Wear a button- up velvet skirt (with tights underneath if needed) and a fitted turtleneck. I've been really into belts lately, and the double- buckle belt is definitely my new favorite. They look great on a ton of different body types and they add so much character to any outfit.

Le Happy

Last but definitely not least, the little black dress is a cult classic!

For a night out with your friends or significant other, opt for an LBD with a plunging neckline and interesting details (like the embellishments shown in the photo above). Add a hardcore touch to your outfit by wearing a leather jacket and platform boots. Keep your outfit cohesive by sticking with one tone of metal throughout your accessories and outfit details.
