I decided to broaden the selection of items in my shop and add hair sticks! I'm so excited, this is my first pair made :)
What sets these cuties apart from a lot of other hair sticks is that I've stuck to my hand made mark and added a beautiful pair of Amazon parrots to them :) So it makes this pair of sticks extra special!
These would be perfect for a summer wedding, a party, with any outfit really!
On the end of one of the sticks is a pair of hand sculpted Amazon parrots, painted in rich greens and yellows into fine details. They are sitting on a branch with leaves on the end of it. To add an extra cute touch I've added a link of little bells beside them which give off a very faint jingle, which I thought paired very well beside the birds ( kinda like birds chirping in the trees). he birds are hanging from a chain maille working ( which is an intricate sort of pattern created by attaching jump rings together) almost has a Celtic feel to it.
On the other stick I've added assorted sizes of glass beads in shades of blue, turquoise, yellow and darker blues, very pretty! There are three strands of beads hanging from links.
The sticks are wood and stained dark brown, they are six inches long. These sticks are extremely sturdy! I've yet to break a pair and believe me with my long hair I'm usually very rough on them and snap them, but not these! Since they are not plastic or metal they don't easily slide down the hair like a lot of them do, so they will hold your hair in place just perfect :)
They will come to you with the charms in a box ( to protect the birds and glass beads from breaking during shipping. All you need to do and is just screw them back on the sticks. Which leads to my next point that you will be getting a new pair of sticks that have not been worn, the ones in the photo are mine for demonstration purposes only.
